photo-1516321318423-f06f85e504b3Hi, the last few months have been amazing as I was finally able to start my blog. It has been a dream of mine for a long time. I used to compete in contests and write short novels as a teenager. I did my MBA in marketing and I had worked in a reputable company. I love to read and write related to digital marketing and its growing influence. A friend suggested I make a blog, and here I am. It’s been an exciting journey so far, and no matter the progress, I believe if you love doing something, then do not let go.

I aim to provide an advanced and accessible gateway to marketing enthusiasts and beginners alike. Let’s define marketing in simple words: As a company, your goal is to sell a product that you have spent a lot of money on. How will you compel potential customers to buy your product? How will they even know your product exists? You will sell your product by promoting it by advertising, marketing, and delivering products to consumers or other businesses. There are so many ways of doing it, and all of it is defined as marketing.

Marketing in today’s world is a weapon that must be used in every business. I write to teach these individuals how to market their products, company, etc. As a discipline, marketing is used by a business to attract customers and gain their trust. Suppose if you want to have your virtual assistant business, than networking with potential or past clients helps a lot when you start. These include writing thank you emails, playing golf with a prospective client, returning calls and emails quickly, and meeting with clients for coffee or a meal. This is the most straightforward marketing strategy in the book. You make a website, and you talk to those who you now and bam you get a job from one of their references.

photo-1432888498266-38ffec3eaf0aThe main hot topic of today’s internet searches is digital marketing, which is my niche and strength. The power and capacity of the internet can be pictured by the fact that internet usage has been increased by 5% in the last three years. While traditional marketing circled around meeting your audience at the right time and place, digital marketing is all about meeting them where they already are. Digital marketing is all about using electronic devices and sources to promote your business. Not long ago, marketing was done using print ads, phone communication, or physical marketing, which still works today. But digital marketing is the new kid in town, and it occurs electronically and online. There are so many ways to do digital marketing, which include email, video, social media, or website-based marketing opportunities. What’s different about digital marketing is that anyone with the right strategy can market their idea. Traditional marketing needed big budgets, and small businesses relied on physical marketing at most. Now everyone can take their business to the next level with smart thinking.

My blog has an initial introduction to the types of marketing strategies, how to approach it etc. than jumps right in to take readers on a journey of discovery and knowledge. The whole point is to inspire young minds to think beyond their boundaries and find out how can they take their business to the next level. My experience has provided me with lots of knows how’s of digital marketing, and I want to share it with the world. I have even interacted with a few readers and answered questions. Its honestly been a great journey so far, and I hope for the best in the future.
